  6. 1. Remove 4 screws and lift the top cover. (the top cover is the one
  7. with the "TWIN BANDER" imprint.)

  9. 2. With the heatsink facing you, locate the vertical circuit board at the 
  10. front of the C5718DA
  11.  
  12. 3. Locate the row of three blue chip resistors at the lower right corner of 
  13. the vertical circuit board, to the right of the connector labelled "CTD". 
  14. Remove the blue chip resistor that is closest to the main circuit board.
  15.  
  16. 4. Replace the cover, and preform the ALL RESET procedure described in the 
  17. owners manual. The C5718DA is now configured for wide transmit.
